Terms of payment
The renter agrees to pay 35% of the amount of the rental at the time of the reservation.
60% of the amount of the rental will be paid 45 days before the date of arrival at the accommodation.
100% must be paid 30 days before the date of arrival at the accommodation.
Cancellation fees and conditions
In case of cancellation:
60 days before arrival: 35% will be retained
45 days before arrival: 50% will be retained
30 days before arrival: 75% will be retained
15 days before arrival: 100% will be retained
Important note: during the end of the year, Carnival and Easter periods, 100% will be kept in case of cancellation 45 days before the arrival date.
Reservation and security deposits
By paying the deposit, you accept the general terms and conditions of the rentals.
The rental shall be effective as soon as the reservation has been confirmed.
The renter will be asked to make a security deposit of 35% of the amount of the rental, either by check or credit card imprint. If the stay has ended successfully, the amount of the security deposit will be returned to the renter if we do not notice any damages in the accommodation.
General Terms and Conditions of Rental
The mandatory fixed housekeeping fee announced by Rum'trotters shall be charged to the renter. In case of non-compulsory fixed housekeeping fees, the visitor agrees to leave the premises in the same state in which they found it, clean and tidy. If the premises are not vacated in a state of perfect cleanliness, the renter will be billed the amount of the fixed housekeeping fee.
The accommodations provided are furnished and equipped.
An inventory of equipments will be carried out upon the renter's arrival and will constitute a signed tenancy inventory. The renter will have 24 hours following the arrival date in the villa to contest the check-in tenancy inventory.
All parties and receptions are prohibited. In the event of disturbances caused by the renter will result in an expulsion without compensation.
All subletting is prohibited.
The renter agrees to be respectful of the neighbours, demonstrate good manners and occupy the premises in a peaceful manner.
Rum’trotters reserves the right to refuse all additional persons beyond the number of authorised residents.
Liability
The renter is asked to obtain insurance. The leaser shall not be liable in the event of theft, loss or any damages to the renter's personal belongings.
The competent jurisdiction depends on the court of Fort-de-France – Martinique.
Natural disasters
In the event of a cyclone, natural disaster or extraordinary, serious and natural events forcing the renter to cancel or shorten their stay in Martinique, we cannot reimburse unoccupied days, or bear the additional costs brought by the event.
